Brennan Draper, a senior at Chaparral High, won the Class 5A boys title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:14.4 for the fastest time of the entire meet at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Draper achieved the No. 4 all-time effort at the state final, joining 2021 Class 5A winner Tanner Brown as champions for Chaparral.
